Patrick Mahomes hosts a Sunday Funday, only on Airbnb

Patrick Mahomes has the perfect game plan for an off-season Sunday. Together with Airbnb, he has designed the perfect Sunday Funday to hold fans over during the summer slump. The three-time football champ is bringing together some of his favorite things – football, soccer, golf and more! – but with a unique twist for a one-of-a-kind “field day” in Kansas City. And no Sunday would be complete without firing up the grill. After a day of non-stop action, guests will sit with Patrick to enjoy a delicious Jack Stack Barbecue spread (one of Patrick’s favorites) while rehashing the day — no replay required. 

Starting today, May 13, through May 20, guests (with a plus one) can request to book their chance to join Patrick and eight other players for some friendly competition, with the experience taking place on Sunday, June 1 in Kansas City. 

“Teaming up with Airbnb to create the perfect offseason Sunday is a chance to share something special with the fans,” Patrick said. “We’re bringing together all the best parts of a Sunday funday — backyard games, authentic KC barbecue, and a little friendly competition — all in great company!”

About the experience

From a sprawling estate in Kansas City overlooking a picturesque pond, the Sunday Funday experience will drop guests right into the game, comprising three challenges. Four teams will play, but only one will bring home the hardware!

• Upon arrival, guests will head to the locker room and  stash their belongings. On-air host Kimmi Chex will be the coach and provide her enthusiasm and sports knowledge to encourage guests to get into the games. 
• As a warm up, guests will break the ice over a friendly round of beer pong¹ before the real games begin.
• Now, it’s time for the first challenge! Lock in like Mahomes by chipping golf balls into the floating rings on the pond out back, earning your team some points. Mahomes will be there to give tips and maybe even jump in for a celebrity shot. 
• Next up, drills! But this isn’t your high school gymnasium. In fast succession, you’ll run tire drills, dribble a soccer ball through cones, and take a penalty shot on a soccer goal. Agility and speed are the name of the game, with Mahomes on-hand to keep spirits high. 
• You think you got what it takes to throw with QB-1 precision? For this final challenge, teams will rotate to the end zone and throw ten footballs through multiple hoops at varying sizes. If guests can hit a no-look pass like Mahomes, they’ll earn double the points!
• While points will be tallied and a winning team will be named — and receive a trophy to boot — everyone walks away feeling like a winner, having already scored the most unforgettable experience with their pro-athlete host.
• Once the trophy ceremony is over, teams will enjoy a traditional BBQ spread from one of Mahomes’ favorite spots — Jack Stack Barbeque. Guests will kick back, chat football, and toss a few rounds of cornhole between bites with Mahomes.

The experience is available to request to book today, May 13, 2025 for $0 per person, with submissions closing on May 20, 2025 at 11:30pm PT. Four guests and their plus ones will be selected to join Patrick Mahomes on Sunday,  June 1, in Kansas City.
