Fire safety: tips for your home
We’re committed to putting safety first – it’s our number one priority. Over 160 million guests have had safe and memorable experiences on Airbnb, and we know that good experiences rely on hosts providing safe and hospitable homes.
That’s why we’ve partnered with the Chief Fire Officers Association, who have created a quick fire safety guide for hosts. It includes expert advice from fire services across the UK which hosts can use to help keep guests safe in their homes.
Some of the recommendations from our partners at the Chief Fire Officers Association include:
- Looking around your home and working out where there are fire risks (and addressing them)
- Ensuring that you have early warning systems in place and that everyone knows what to do if they hear the alarm
- Making sure doors are closed (especially at night)
