Airbnb is proud to partner with Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement!
On Saturday, several eager hosts joined Airbnb’s public policy and mobilization teams in Chicago to attend the Mujeres de HACE annual brunch – where 85 emerging women leaders participated in a discussion on Latinas and entrepreneurship.
Program alumni and interested participants gathered to celebrate women leaders in the community and announced HACE’s partnership with Airbnb, the event sponsor and benefactor of HACE’s 2017 women leadership program scholarship in Chicago.
“Like HACE, at Airbnb we’re proud to operate with a mission-driven philosophy that empowers neighborhoods and communities of color,” said Benjamin Breit, Chicago Press Secretary. “Our company aspires to a world where anyone – regardless of race, religion or heritage – can belong anywhere, and we can only get there by partnering with incredible organizations like HACE that are fostering the next generation of Latino leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.”
The event also included a compelling speech from a HACE member and Airbnb host, who spoke about what hosting means to her and encouraged fellow Mujeres members to join the home sharing platform.
Following the brunch, Airbnb Staff also shared additional information with attendees about hosting and best practices.
