Hosts in Copenhagen launch first Home Sharing Club in Denmark
Fifty hosts came together in Copenhagen on November 1st to launch the country’s first Home Sharing Club. The leaders of the club invited hosts from all over the city to come together at Støberiet and celebrate this special event for the host community in Copenhagen. Worldwide there are more than 200 Home Sharing Clubs. Home Sharing Clubs allow hosts to build new relationships with local hosts, discuss issues in their communities and help each other find more information about local rules.
The host-led club’s goal is to share experiences of being a host and inspire but also provide support to one another regarding questions hosts have about sharing their homes, but also to advocate for clear rules and fair regulations around home sharing. Hosts were encouraged to share the local tips they give to their guests and started conversations in smaller groups about current matters at hand, such as the proposed new rules for home sharing in Denmark.
Hosts can stay up to date and find out more about the Copenhagen host club, post questions to the community and connect with other hosts on the Copenhagen club page.
