Mega-fan Lists the Original Spice Bus from the Movie Spice World on Airbnb

• Iconic Union Jack-painted bus that featured in the 1997 movie Spice World is now listed as accommodation on Airbnb
• Guests will be able to stay overnight in the bus on June 14 and 15, 2019 at Wembley Park, London available to book on Airbnb from May 22.
• Living area includes pink Union Jack cinema chairs, complete with vintage 90s memorabilia and bold interiors

For the first time ever, super fans from all over the world are set to have their dreams come true with an overnight stay in the original Spice Bus. Mega-fan Suzanne has listed the iconic bus from the 1997 movie Spice World on the Airbnb platform, allowing her fellow girl power enthusiasts the chance to relive the celebrated movie this June. The Spice Bus will be situated in the heart of Wembley Park, where guests will be able to stay overnight on June 14 and 15.

The recently renovated living area features pink Union Jack cinema chairs below a ‘Girl Power’ neon light installation, and is fully stocked with vintage 90s magazines and CDs to help recreate the 90s era. With bold interiors, potted plants create a fresh homely feel downstairs while bright colorful scatter cushions surround the central seating area, providing a comfy place for guests to relax and spend time with each other.

Upstairs there’s a dressing area where guests can decide whether to wear the little Gucci dress, the little Gucci dress, or… the little Gucci dress. The adjoining bedroom, fitted with a striking animal-print carpet, provides comfy bedding for three guests who get to call the Spice Bus home for the night.

The Spice Girls were my childhood obsession. My parents were subjected to my tone-deaf performances as Baby Spice, and I must have watched the Spice World movie hundreds of times. And while I have grown up over the years, I don’t think I’ve ever grown out of my love for them.

When my boss mentioned that he was considering buying the Spice Bus I was desperate to be a part of its renovation. We’ve worked hard over the past few months to turn the bus into a home, in keeping with its legacy, and I’m so excited to open it up to the public with the support of Airbnb. Being part of this project has been like a dream come true and I can’t wait to meet other Spice Girls fans through this experience.

The bus will be located in Market Square, off Olympic Way in Wembley Park and available to book for Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 for just £99 a night. The bus sleeps three guests maximum.

Given the high level of interest anticipated, Suzanne will be adding available dates from 8 a.m. BST on Wednesday, May 22, to give as many fans as possible the chance to book.

This summer, Wembley Park, where the bus will be stationed for the duration of the stay, is running a free outdoor summer screening program from May 31 to July 23 during which a series of iconic films will be shown, including Spice World on June 13, 14 and 15.
