To support those impacted by the earthquake that occurred on 28 March, 2025, Airbnb.org is offering free, emergency housing to evacuees residing in Bangkok and across Thailand, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and local nonprofit NGO, Zendai Foundation. The stays on Airbnb will provide evacuees free, emergency housing.
How it works
Airbnb.org works with local organizations to help identify those in greatest need of emergency housing and may expand support to other areas affected by the earthquake. We will update this page with more information accordingly.
Currently, Airbnb.org is partnering with BMA and Zendai Foundation, who are identifying residents in need of emergency housing and helping to connect them to free Airbnb.org stays for up to 14 days. Airbnb waives all fees for Airbnb.org stays. They are specifically focused on people whose homes have been severely damaged or have been forced to evacuate, first-responders and technical volunteers who are aiding inspections post-damage, in Bangkok. Impacted residents can request assistance for temporary housing support from Airbnb.org by contacting Zendai Foundation at +66 020965000.
