Airbnb’s Statement on DACA Supreme Court Ruling

Airbnb issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Today’s Supreme Court ruling means Dreamers who work, study, and contribute to our country can continue to do so without the fear of deportation. Airbnb was founded on the simple idea that our lives and world are better when we accept one another. We continue to believe this reflects more than just a business value, it is an American value and we will continue to advocate for a permanent legislative solution for Dreamers who call the U.S. home.

Airbnb’s mission is to help anyone belong anywhere and we’ve led with our values as a member of the Coalition for the American Dream alongside other businesses and industry leaders to support efforts to protect Dreamers and find a permanent solution. In addition, we joined an amicus brief in support of today’s Supreme Court decision urging the Supreme Court to protect Dreamers.
