UPDATED (06/15/18): Los Angeles is one of the top 10 LGBTQ-friendly cities to celebrate Pride this year, and we’re excited to announce that trans-activist and star, Laverne Cox, is the latest to host a Social Impact Experience in the city.
Donating all proceeds to the new Trans Wellness Center in Los Angeles, Laverne will take her guests on an Experience that explores wellness through a creative lens, with activities covering meditation, thrift store shopping and a fashion shoot: all activities that contribute to her feeling of wellness, inside and out.
As a recent LA transplant from the Big Apple, I’ve found an overwhelming calmness in my new home and focused my energy into channeling being fabulous both inside and out. Wellness is so important to me and I want to show people how it has helped me find my happy place here in LA, as well as educate people on the importance of wellness, particularly for the trans community in an effort to empower those who may find life more challenging at times.
Laverne Cox, actress, activist and Airbnb Experience Host
