With this in mind, we pored over some Parisian data and are excited to reveal a whole host of fun facts about the City of Love and the patchwork of charming neighborhoods that make it such a perennial favorite.

Neighbor’s Day Event

On May 25, Airbnb celebrated the hospitality of the world’s largest host community, bringing together Parisians from all its districts and visitors from around the world to mark Fête des voisins (Neighbor’s Day) with a special community gathering.

Airbnb brought together Parisians from all the arrondissements and guests from all over the world to Le Nid. Le Nid is a space that brings together guests and travelers to create links around the theme of travel.

On Fête des Voisins day, 40 000 guests stayed in Paris with Airbnb hosts, coming from over 120 countries including Belarus, Guatemala, Cambodia and Namibia. They stayed in all 20 arrondissements, experiencing the life of real Parisians for one night.
