Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals, ThinkReservations, Airbnb Partner to Help B+Bs

The Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals (AIHP) and ThinkReservations, a leading reservation management system for bed and breakfasts, today announced a new partnership that will make it easier for traditional bed and breakfasts to share rooms on Airbnb. The world’s leading hospitality company, Airbnb offers bed and breakfast operators access to potential guests from over 191 countries around the world. AIHP worked with Airbnb and ThinkReservations to develop the new tools, which are available to hospitality providers who utilize ThinkReservations management software.

Under the new partnership, bed and breakfasts that utilize ThinkReservations can quickly and seamlessly advertise rooms on the Airbnb platform. Using ThinkReservations, AIHP members are able to receive bookings from Airbnb’s site directly into their calendar views, while capturing guest information.  Detailed instructions for hospitality providers interested in using this function are available here.

“ThinkReservations has been a strong leader in providing online reservations and guest management functionality and seamless two-way OTA connectivity in real-time to our growing bed and breakfast membership,” said AIHP CEO Rob Fulton.  “AIHP will continue to lead the industry in cooperative partnerships like this that benefit our members and the industry.  Airbnb offers a tremendous opportunity to independent hospitality providers.”

“We are very excited about this new connection to Airbnb,” said ThinkReservations CEO Richard Aday.  “Our close working relationship with AIHP has opened many doors, and we appreciate AIHP establishing the relationship between us and Airbnb.”

Founded by a group of seasoned hospitality professionals, The Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals focuses on best practices for success for independent hospitality professionals and their allied partners through education, advocacy, networking and more.

“We’ve seen how these small, independent businesses can deliver the kind of experiences Airbnb guests expect and deserve. We’re dedicated to giving guests unique, local experiences and excited to continue our work with small business owners who share our commitment to creating a world where anyone can belong anywhere. Airbnb is thrilled to have AIHP as the industry’s leading inn-keeping association as a partner and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
